See the design in the real world

  • New: "View in your room" lets a customer scan a QR code and see the product life-size in 3D, right where they're standing, through their phone camera. Works on both iPhone and Android.
  • New: place the 3D model onto a photo of a real space (your showroom, a customer's garden) and drag and scale it so it sits naturally on the spot.
  • New: when a photo has clutter like parasols or garden furniture, CPQ3D cleans the background automatically so the model composites cleanly.
  • The configurator now has a clear 3D / Photo / AR toggle.

Full keyboard control and accessibility

  • The configurator is now fully usable with the keyboard (arrow keys to rotate, resize, and nudge) and works with screen readers, meeting WCAG accessibility standards.
Fix

More reliable buttons and smarter follow-up

  • "See in 3D" buttons are more reliable on complex websites. They now match your product photos by filename, so other scripts that rearrange images won't stop the buttons from appearing.
  • Quote requests now show the customer's preferred contact time ("Best time: afternoon") when they share it, so you know when to call.

Safer, more flexible embed code

  • Your embed code is now personalized to you: instead of a generic snippet you get your own /widget/yourcode.js. It only activates on the websites you've approved and only on the photos you marked, so it's safe to add across your whole site.
  • You can now allow the configurator on a specific section of a website (for example example.com/shop), not just a whole domain.
  • Older embed codes keep working, so there's nothing to change if you're already set up.

A richer experience for your customers

  • New: starter designs you curate. Set up a small library of ready-made designs that customers pick from the moment the configurator opens, branded to you.
  • New: realistic colour samples. Colours now show with true lighting and texture, like a physical fan deck, instead of flat chips.
  • New: customers can save their design, leave their details, and request a call as separate gentle steps, at their own pace. Saved designs land in your dashboard with their contact info.
  • Saved designs and share links now open in the new, faster 3D configurator, and share links are much shorter.

Pipeline and signals upgrades

  • New: engagement health on your pipeline. Each dealer shows as New, Active, Stuck, or Dormant, with the date of the last email and a one-click button to re-send a follow-up.
  • New: filter your pipeline by date range to compare periods.
  • New: websites typed into cpq3d.com ("URL interest signals") are grouped by domain, with follow-up and dismiss actions.
  • New: automatic milestone emails keep you posted: first configurator use, first quote request, momentum at 5 requests, plus go-live check-ins and low-credit warnings.

Onboarding improvements + help page updates

  • New: enter your website URL during signup even if you don't have one pre-filled
  • New: "I don't have a website yet" skip option during setup
  • "Continue without buttons" now always works, even with no photos or prior configurator assigned
  • Onboarding now works for returning users who haven't set up a website yet
  • Getting Started guide updated with current screenshots and flow
